Abstract:
This data set contains the index for digital orthophoto quadrangles (DOQ) which are producted by the U.S. Geological Survey. The DOQs are available for a large part of the United States. The entire country will be completed in the future. DOQ cover an area measuring 3.75-minutes longitude by 3.75-minutes latitude. Please go to the following link for more information about DOQs: <http://ask.usgs.gov/photos.html#doq>. This is an updated version of the December 2000 data set.
Purpose:
The Index to Digital Aerial Photographs map layer shows the positions of the DOQs available for South Carolina (3.75-minute x 3.75-minute, 1:12,000 scale).
No responsibility is assumed by the U.S. Geological Survey in the use of these data.
Supplemental_Information:
Additional attribute data has been added to include the flight date for 2006 DOQQ images avaiable for South Carolina.

Flight date infomration for doqq and for non-doqq centers was converted from a text file containing coordinate locations for each center along with the flight date to a point layer. A spatial join was performed to add flight information for each doqq in the attribute table associated with this data set.
