SCAEL-South Carolina Algal Ecology Labs

The research and outreach capabilities of the SC Algal Ecology Laboratory are largely dependant on multi-institutional collaborations. Dr. Lewitus and his staff are directly associated with the South Carolina Department of Natural Resource's Marine Resources Research Institute, The University of South Carolina's Belle W. Baruch Institute for Marine and Coastal Sciences, and The Hollings Marine Laboratory. In addition, we collaborate with personnel from all levels of research in numerous federal, state, local, and educational facilities.
