In 1907, the mean monthly temperature for March was 7.7 degrees above normal. Maximum temperatures were above 90 degrees on an average of 6-7 days in the southeastern counties and 5-6 days in the central counties. Every station exceeded the maximum temperature records of previous years by one to six degrees.
