A low pressure system passed along the South Carolina coast with heavy rain and high winds. Edisto Island measured a storm total 13.64 inches of rain and winds gusted to 55 knots. Sullivans Island reported 9.77 inches, Jocassee, located in the mountains, received 6.20 inches of rain.
