The South Carolina Department of Natural Resources is convening the State Drought Response Committee on Wednesday,August 16, 2006, at 10:00 AM. The meeting will be held in Room 335 in the Rembert C. Dennis Building, 1000 Assembly Street in Columbia, SC.
The Committee will evaluate drought conditions to determine if a need exists for action beyond the scope of local government.
