CHESTER...HEAVY SLEET AND FREEZING RAIN HAS OCCURRED TODAY. MORE ICE 
ACCUMULATION IN THE SOUTHERN PART OF COUNTY WITH MODERATE ACCUM. IN 
CENTRAL AND NORTHERN PARTS. SECONDARY ROADS ARE SOLID ICE AND MAIN 
HIGHWAYS ARE MORE OF A SLUSH.

CHEROKEE...ROADS VERY SLICK. LOTS OF WRECKS REPORTED. 

GREENVILLE...ROADS ICY. ISOLATED POWER OUTAGES IN THE PIEDMONT AREA.

GREENWOOD...MAJOR ICE ACCUMULATION TODAY...RANGING FROM 1/2 TO 3/4 
INCH. ALL FREEZING RAIN. SOUTH END OF COUNTY EXPERIENCED SIGNIFICANT 
REPORTS OF TREES ON POWER LINES AND ROADS...MORE SCATTERED IN REST 
OF COUNTY. SOME STOPLIGHTS OUT. ISOLATED POWER OUTAGES. MAJOR ROAD 
PROBLEMS. 

LAURENS...1/2 INCH OF ICE GLAZE TODAY. TREMENDOUS PROBLEMS WITH 
ACCIDENTS DUE TO ROAD AND SIDEWALK ICE. NOT MANY POWER OUTAGES.

OCONEE...ROADS SLICK. TREES ON POWERLINES IN THE SALEM AREA. A 
COUPLE OF POWERLINES DOWN NEAR FAIRPLAY.

PICKENS...ROADS ICY.

SPARTANBURG...ROADS SLICK. SEVERAL TRACTOR-TRAILERS BLOCKING TRAFFIC 
OR JACK-KNIFED DUE TO INABILITY TO CLIMB STEEP ICY HILLS.

UNION...NOT MUCH PRECIPITATION FELL TODAY. ROADS ARE A REAL MESS 
WITH COUNTLESS REPORTS OF ACCIDENTS. SAND TRUCK OVERTURNED AND AN 
AMBULANCE STUCK ENROUTE. MANY EMERGENCY VEHICLES WERE GETTING STUCK 
AND NOT RETURNING. NATIONAL GUARD ACTIVATED TO HELP PEOPLE WITH 
POWER LOSSES. "...THE WORST ROAD CONDITIONS EVER SEEN IN THIS COUNTY."

OUTAGES REPORTED BUT SOME TREES AND LIMBS ON ROADS.

FRANKLIN...LITTLE ADDITIONAL ACCUMULATION TODAY. CAR ACCIDENTS 
EARLIER...NOT MANY IN AFTERNOON. SEVERAL REPORTS OF POWER OUT ON 
LAKE HARTWELL. 

HABERSHAM...ROADS ICY. SOME TREES AND LINES DOWN. NOT MUCH PRECIP 
FELL TODAY. 

HART...HEAVY GLAZE OF ICE ON TREES AND POWER LINES. POWER OUTAGES 
REPORTED IN SOUTHERN PART OF THE COUNTY. NUMEROUS CAR ACCIDENTS.

STEPHENS...FREEZING DRIZZLE. ICE ON BRIDGES AND OVERPASSES. TREES
