2004 Canon Envirothon

Buckhannon, West Virginia

Buckhannon, West Virginia played host to the 2004 Canon North American Envirothon competition from July 26th - August 1st. Teams from forty-four US states and seven Canadian provinces competed for the top scholarships and awards. In addition to the $30,000 worth of scholarship money awarded, many were also treated to Canon digital cameras.

The Calhoun Falls FFA team was our state winner in the May competition and headed north to West Virginia to be tested on their knowledge of soils, aquatics, forestry, wildlife, urban conservation and oral presentation. All Team results may be viewed at the Canon Envirothon website.

Once the training was completed and the exams were behind them, the students had some time to relax and enjoy Wild and Wonderful West Virginia!
