Brasstown Creek Heritage Preserve

Directions

From Westminister, SC in Oconee County, go south on highway 123 (toward Toccoa, GA). Take the last right before crossing Lake Hartwell on River Road. Follow River Road for 4.3 miles and turn left at the stop sign, onto Cleveland Pike Road. Go 0.15 miles and turn right onto Barton Creek Road (the first road to the right). Follow Barton Creek Road 0.8 miles and go left at the fork onto Cooper Road (county road PU 46, gravel and dirt road). Continue up Cooper Road past the Tugaloo Environmental Education Center (TEEC). You will see Heritage Preserve signs on the right. The parking area is along the Tugaloo River on the left side of the road.
