Directions

Located along Scouter Creek in Lexington County, Shealy’s Pond encompasses 62 acres about 13 miles southwest of Columbia. The nearest town is Pelion, which is about 6 miles south of the preserve.

To reach Shealy’s Pond from Pelion, go north of state highway 302 for 6 miles to county road 279. Turn left on 279 and go 2 miles west to the preserve.
