May 26, 2016Lifetime hunting, fishing licenses presented to sons of fallen officer

The sons of fallen Greenville Police Officer Allen Jacobs will never have to purchase a hunting or fishing license.

South Carolina Department of Natural Resources (DNR) Region 1 Officer Frank Jordan, State Law Enforcement Division (SLED) Agent Joe Jordan, and Greenville Police MPO K-9 Officer Derek Loftis presented both boys, Michael and Dillon, with a lifetime hunting and fishing license on May 24.

The licenses were purchased by DNR officers assigned to Region One in the Upstate. These licenses will allow the boys to enjoy the outdoors, hunting, and fishing for a lifetime and not have to purchase a license.

The Greenville Police K-9 Unit purchased both Michael and Dillon fishing rods, tackle boxes, and artificial bait for their fishing adventures.
