Savannah River Committee Meets Nov. 8 In Columbia
South Carolina Gov. Mark Sanford's Savannah River
Committee of South Carolina will meet 9:30 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 8 in Columbia. The
public may attend by coming to the Rembert C. Dennis Building at 1000 Assembly
Street, Conference Room 149.
Sanford established the committee by Executive Order in conjunction with the
Governor's Savannah River Committee of Georgia to identify and discuss issues of
mutual interest related to the water resources of the Savannah River Basin.
Former state Sen. Robert Waldrep from Anderson County chairs the committee.

- Saltwater intrusion into a principle public water supply aquifer on the coast of Georgia and South Carolina near the Savannah River
