South Carolina Gov. Mark Sanford's Savannah River Committee will meet 11 a.m. Monday, Jan. 9 in Columbia. The public may attend by coming to the Governor's Conference Room on the first floor of the Wade Hampton Office Building near the State House in Columbia.

The Savannah River Committee will continue its discussion of issues arising in the Savannah Basin. The committee met once earlier in Fall 2005 with its sister committee, as appointed by Georgia Gov. Sonny Purdue, and plans to meet with that group again later this month.
