The annual Harry Hampton Marine Conservation Banquet and Auction is just around the corner and will be held Saturday, August 12, from 6-11 p.m. at the Omar Shrine Temple in Mt. Pleasant.
The banquet is sponsored by The Harry Hampton Memorial Wildlife Fund Inc., a private, non-profit corporation which partners with the S.C. Department of Natural Resources (DNR) to promote education, research, management and the administration of game and fish laws, that directly benefit the conservation of wildlife, marine and other natural resources in South Carolina.

While supporting these important causes, guests can enjoy a night of fun and entertainment at the Harry Hampton Marine Conservation Banquet, which will showcase live and silent auctions. Auction features up for bid will include beachfront vacations, golf getaways, hunting trips, artwork, inshore and offshore fishing excursions, tickets to popular coastal attractions among many other ticketed items.
The banquet kicks off at 6 p.m. with the silent auction, and drinks and hors d'oeuvres will be provided for all ticket holders. Ticket prices are $25 per person or $40 per couple. To purchase tickets, contact the DNR at (843) 953-9103.
