The Lynches Scenic River Advisory Council will host an evening with the Congaree and Pee Dee Land Trusts on June 27th at 7pm at Woods Bay State Natural Area Nature Center. Together, the Congaree and Pee Dee Land Trusts work in 19 counties in the Pee Dee and Midland regions of South Carolina.
If you have questions about this event, please contact the Lynches Scenic River Project Manager
Alison JG Krepp at (843) 953-9335 or KreppA@dnr.sc.gov.
Jane Robb Stirling and Jennie Williamson will answer from council members, landowners, and the general public about land trusts and conservation options available to landowners. The Lynches Scenic River Advisory Council is charged with implementing the management plan of the Lynches Scenic River, which begins at the Highway 15 bridge in Bishopville and ends at Lynches River County Park in Coward.
The Advisory Council’s mission is to unite citizens with business, agriculture, and government to ensure the health of the Lynches River; they accomplish this by gathering information, providing education, and conducting river stewardship projects.
