DNR says removing oyster shell from recycling areas unlawful

These oyster shells are located at the Marine Resource Division drop-off site at Ft. Johnson on James Island in Charleston. The majority of the shells were collected from the coastal bins and brought to the site for quarantine and cleaning before refurbishing begins this summer.
