South Carolina’s artificial reefs will be the featured topic in the S.C. Department of Natural Resources Marine Resources Division’s second Public Event Series on Wednesday, Feb. 28 in Charleston.
The event will be held from 6:30-7:30 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 28 at the Marine Resources Center’s Research Institute auditorium on James Island in Charleston. Bob Martore, S.C. Department of Natural Resources (DNR) Artificial Reef Program coordinator, will present a lecture featuring the functions and health of artificial reefs in South Carolina. Underwater footage from program research will also spotlight the program’s work and recent accomplishments.
