Online calendar keeps you informed about DNR events

When and where is the next S.C. Natural Resources Board meeting? How many days does the Palmetto Sportsmen’s Classic run? You can now get details on activities around the state and getnotices to your e-mail inbox with the new online calendar.

You can specialize the calendar in a variety of ways from conservations districts to S.C. Department of Natural Resources (DNR) meetings and search for specific events.

“The idea is to keep the public as informed about events and activities in relation to DNR as is possible,” said Patty Epley, DNR Web master.

Calendars can be listed as inclusive of all events or more specific such as:

• Education – Boater, Hunter

• CC Discovery - Marine education
