Lewis Ocean Bay Heritage Preserve re-opens to vehicular traffic
Roads at Lewis Ocean Bay Heritage Preserve in Horry County re-opened Dec. 11, 2009. Main roads throughout the Preserve sustained major damage due to recent flooding. Damage included roads being washed out as well as large trees being toppled across roads, both of which prohibit access by vehicle. All repairs have been completed and roads are safe for vehicle traffic.
