It's UP2U to dispose of litter responsibly.

Don’t know what to do with all those plastic bags? Because plastic bags are not accepted at the curbside or at your local recycling center, but they are recyclable! Go to Recycle Location Finder to recycle your plastic bags!

CD's, DVD's, inkjet cartridges, small electronics, and cables are not recyclable and are harmful to the environment when they end up in the landfill. There is an alternative, send them to:

The CD Recycling Center
CD Recycling Center of America
68E Stiles Road
Salem, NH 03079

Just about everything you use can be recycled, upcycled, or composted. For more information about proper disposal of your waste in your county go to: https://www.scdhec.gov/HomeAndEnvironment/Recycling/WheretoRecycleLocally/

Did you know you in 2010 legislation passed to ban the disposal of specific electronics in SC landfills? E-Cycle your old electronic components such as televisions, VCRs, stereos, copiers, and fax machines at: Electronics Recycling - DHEC

Tires are not for burning, leaving in the woods, or thrown in our waterways for that matter. Most counties have collection programs that accept a minimal number of waste tires (usually about five) at drop-off recycling centers. Check with your local recycling coordinator or call the Office of Solid Waste Reduction and Recycling at 1-800-768-7348 for a drop-off center near you.
