Take Palmetto Pride Where You Live Act

On April 2, 2015, Governor Nikki Haley signed into law the "Take Palmetto Pride Where You Live Act". This state-wide initiative was established to educate people about litter prevention, litter reduction, and law enforcement of littering violations. The 12 member team called the Commission will meet at least twice a year for strategic planning, campaign initiatives, education and legal regulations.

The Commission members bring distinctive knowledge and talent to help tackle the litter problem in our state:

The collaboration between these entities and time ensures that our cities will proudly proclaim to others that we Take Pride Where We Live, so let's make everyday a great day in South Carolina. It's UP2U to make South Carolina litter free!
