Roasted Sweet Potatoes

4 medium sweet potatoes (about 3 pounds)
2 tablespoons olive oil
¼ cup brown sugar
1 teaspoon chili powder
½ teaspoon salt
¼ teaspoon cayenne pepper
¼ teaspoon cinnamon
Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
Peel sweet potatoes and cut into French-fry style pieces.
Put potatoes into a large, plastic container with a lid or a plastic, resealable bag.
Add oil and toss to coat.
Combine remaining ingredients. Sprinkle on top of potatoes and toss to coat.
Line a 9- by 13-inch baking dish with foil or parchment paper and spray with cooking spray. Add potatoes to pan in a single layer.
Bake, uncovered, for 40 minutes or until potatoes are tender, stirring once or twice during cooking.
