The American Bald Eagle has made a remarkable recovery in the U.S. and in South Carolina. There are nesting sites from the mountains to the coast, so you have a good chance to see an eagle in the Palmetto State. The Bald Eagle is the subject of this month’s Palmetto Portrait.
