Discussion:

We decided to try a conference call format for this Committee Meeting to reduce travel time and hopefully increase committee participation. I will send by email on Thursday the drought index update and related information the committee will need to evaluate whether any changes should be made to the official declaration. We will go over each slide during the call and then officially vote by Drought Management Area if any declaration changes are needed.
