By
Michael S. Crouch
1987

INTRODUCTION

The water levels in wells deriving water solely from the Floridan aquifer in Beaufort, Jasper, Colleton, and Hampton Counties were measured during March 10-15 and July 28–August 5, 1986 by South Carolina Water Resources Commission (SCWRC) personnel. This was done as part of the annual monitoring operation. This report:

  1. outlines the extent and distribution of the monitoring network;
  2. presents data obtained during the water level runs;
  3. briefly describe the flow regime;
  4. describes the field efforts during 1986.
Interpretation is kept to a minimum because presentation of data is the objective of this report.

The report contains two appendices. Appendix A is a list of all wells on monitoring network, along with their respective water levels. Appendix B is a tabulation of specifications and information pertaining to each well. Both appendices are indexed in order of SCWRC well number.
