Tropical Storm Helene


Two tornadoes (one was an F2) touched down in Allendale County. Three mobile homes were destroyed, major damage to two mobile homes, minor damage to 6 mobile homes and major damage to a frame home along with numerous trees down. 1 death and 5 injuries ($ 290.0K).

Heavy rain fell across Berkeley County and caused flooding over the northern half of the county, in and around Moncks Corner. A weak F1 touched down in Denmark downing 7 pecan trees, overturning a double-wide mobile home, and damaging 7 homes
