Anglers fish as individuals and are randomly paired with another angler from another club and a random boat captain (if their boat captain is a parent).
The winning team as well as the team finishing in the runner up position from the Bassmaster State Championship receive an automatic birth into the BASS
High School National Championship. The Bassmaster State Champions are also invited to fish two days, Thursday and Friday, as a part of the adult state team
at the Southern Federation Nation Divisional (March/April) to represent the state of South Carolina with a 14 adult member team. There are 6 divisionals. The
winning 14 man team plus two youth from each of the six divisions will attend the B.A.S.S High School National Championship.
