If
digital pictures were taken of the manatee, please send an email (with pictures attached) which includes the observer's name and the date of the observation to coastbio@dnr.sc.gov.

Additionally, if scars or recent wounds were observed please download the Scar Form. Instructions are on the form. In Florida, manatees are cataloged according to the presence and location of scars. So with your help, we can use this information to identify individual manatees.
