July 28, 2016Wildlife and Freshwater Fisheries Advisory Committee meets
Aug. 9 in West Columbia
The Wildlife and Freshwater Fisheries Advisory Committee will meet 10 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 9 in the Styx Classroom at 2762 Wildlife Lane in West Columbia.
The committee’s discussion will include aerial waterbird surveys, proposed changes to diadromous fisheries laws and the Wateree River Heritage Preserve/Wildlife Management Area draft management plan.
The public is invited to attend and will have the opportunity to ask questions or express concerns.
The purpose of the Wildlife and Freshwater Fisheries Advisory Committee is to keep South Carolina citizens in active participation with the S.C. Department of Natural Resources Board and the S.C. Department of Natural Resources.
