The Gone Fishing Saltwater Conservation License Plate portrays the importance of saltwater recreational fishing in South Carolina and serves as a symbol of conservation. It features one of our state's most popular saltwater game fish, the red drum.

Who needs a License Plate?

Everyone who appreciates South Carolina's natural resources including fishermen, boaters, conservationists and anyone who enjoys the water.

How much does it cost?

The cost of the license plate is $75 every two years in addition to your normal registration fee.

How will the funds be used?

The South Carolina Department of Natural Resources will use the funds to conserve and protect our state's valuable marine resources.

How do I order my License Plate?

To order the Gone Fishing License Plate, mail the completed application (Microsoft Word file) and required fees to SC Division of Motor Vehicles, PO Box 1498, Blythewood, SC 29216-0008, visit any DMV office, call 803-737-4000 or visit www.scdmvonline.com.
