More than 1,000 archers will be competing in this year's state tournament

More than 1,000 archers will be competing in this year's state tournament.

SCDNR’s 13th Annual National Archery in the Schools Program (NASP) State Tournament, along with the IBO 3D Archery Tournament, will be hosted March 27-29, 2018 at:

Sumter Civic Center
700 W. Liberty St.
Sumter, SC 29150

Student archers competing in the state tournament participated at one of three regional events across the state in order to qualify. The bullseye competition is bringing in 1,060 archers and the IBO 3D tournament will host 540 archers. Teams meeting certain scores will qualify to compete at the national level.

More than $50,000 in scholarships will be awarded to high school seniors who compete.

Divisions

Tuesday, March 27: Elementary school
Wednesday, March 28: High school
Thursday, March 29: Middle school

There is no entrance fee for spectators. Food and drinks will be available for purchase.
