Description
Palachucola WMA Range is an unsupervised range that is owned and managed by SCDNR in Hampton County. Hours of operation are listed above, but please note that the range is closed during turkey season and some Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays during deer hunts on the WMA. Specific dates will be posted at the range or you may call 803-625-3569 for more information. Visitors must provide their own paper targets as well as eye and ear protection (required).
Directions
From Garnett, S.C., take Hwy 119 South approximately 1.9 miles. Turn right onto Turkey Rd. at the Palachucola Range sign. Continue .5 mile and the range is on the right.
From Clyo, Ga., take Hwy 119 North approximately 3.8 miles. Turn Left onto Turkey Rd. at the Palachucola Range sign. Continue .5 mile and the range is on the right.
