Description
The Palachucola WMA Range is a supervised shooting range owned and managed by the South Carolina Department of Natural Resources (SCDNR) in Hampton County.
Hours of operation are listed above; however, please note that the range is closed during turkey season and on select Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays during deer hunts on the WMA.
Specific closure dates will be posted at the range, or you may call 803-625-3569 for more information.
All visitors must bring their own paper targets and are required to wear eye and ear protection while shooting.
Directions
From Garnett, S.C., take Hwy 119 South approximately 1.9 miles. Turn right onto Turkey Rd. at the Palachucola Range sign. Continue .5 mile and the range is on the right.
From Clyo, Ga., take Hwy 119 North approximately 3.8 miles. Turn Left onto Turkey Rd. at the Palachucola Range sign. Continue .5 mile and the range is on the right.
