Social Security Number - The SCDNR is required to collect social security numbers from all persons obtaining a hunting, fishing or other recreational or commercial license under section 20-7-949 and 42 U.S. Code 666(a)(13). Your social security number will serve as your principle identification number to determine your eligibility for licenses. It will be provided to law enforcement agencies and the SC Child Support Enforcement of DSS Unit to establish, modify and enforce child support obligations. License in Possession - All licenses, permits, tags and/or stamps must be in possession while engaging in activities for which documents were issued. Identification indicating name and address must also be in possession. Persons hunting on their own lands are also required to have all applicable licenses, permits or stamps in their possession. |
