Angler Recognition Program

Did you land the catch of a lifetime? DNR wants to recognize your outstanding freshwater fishing accomplishment.

The Angler Recognition Program focuses on trophy sized catches of blue catfish, brown trout, crappie (both white and black), largemouth bass and striped bass. The program not only allows DNR to recognize an angler's significant trophy catch, but also provides DNR with information that will be valuable to DNR biologists for the management of these important species. This program does not replace the State Records Program, rather allows the catch of other big fish to be recognized.
